| Set in some of the most spectacular countryside on the southwest coast of England, the villages of Puncknowle, Swyre and West Bexington provide for beautiful coastal and rural walks and afford wonderful views of and ready access to the Chesil Beach and Lyme Bay. This web-site aims to provide useful information about the villages for both residents and visitors, and a means of communication between us. |

| Principally farming communities,
the 3 villages have a resident population of around 500. There are a
number of holiday residences and, together with B&B’s, pubs,
hotels, and caravan/camping amenities, the ‘season’ sees us welcome
visitors from all over the world – mainly those keen on walking,
sea-fishing, taking in the breath-taking scenery and those just keen to
get away from the rat-race for some peace and quiet! |

| Nearby townships for shopping and
a wide range of amenities are: Weymouth (host to 2012 Olympics outdoor
water sports) about 10 miles to the east – a main seaside resort;
Bridport 6 miles to the west with its harbour at West Bay; and
Dorchester – the county town of Dorset - about 10 miles to the
north-east. |
| |
| The immediate area around boasts
other beautiful small Dorset villages and in most you will find
fascinating local pubs and food. |
