BOOK CLUB
At the Village Hall – Love reading? Why not join other book lovers in our local club – where we hold monthly meetings starting at 7.30pm to discuss and share views on a wide range of reading – books being secured from Bridport Library for common reading. Contact Carol Bennett on 897771 for further information. Refreshments provided and £1 each per meeting covers our hall hire costs for the evening. Meetings (Wednesdays) planned so far are : 2010 - 9th June, 7th July, 4th August, 1st September, 6th October, 3rd November, 1st December – 2011 5th January.
BRIDE VALLEY CRAFTERS
At the Village Hall on the first Thursday of the month from 2-4pm. Do you sew, quilt, knit, make lace or patchwork? Do come and join us and finish some of those UFOs. Contact 897724 for further information
BROADBAND ACCESS
At the Village Hall from 3.00-6.00pm every Wednesday (except the fifth Wednesday of any month) we make available free access to broadband. Bring your own computer and hook into our connection or make use of one of our machines. Do your on-line shopping, surf the net, or just learn what can be found on the internet.
For those not familiar with computers and/or the internet, someone will be on hand to assist.
LUNCH CLUB
At the Village Hall on the third Tuesday of every month – starting at midday – we hold a lunch for anyone over 50 years of age from the villages of Puncknowle, Swyre and West Bexington. Enjoy very good food MADE FRESH ON THE DAY in our three-course menu (including tea and coffee) for £4.00 per head – annual club membership is £1.00 – new members most welcome –Phone 897622 for information.

From the Crown Inn, Puncknowle – Like pub games? Want to get involved in fun evenings and learn to play this skilful game? The Crown currently has three teams and is always looking for players. Most games are played in the winter months on Mondays. Ask Glyn or John for more information
